Digital X-rays:

Traditionally, dentists use x-rays to find out what’s going on below the surface and between teeth, develop them in a darkroom with chemicals, and examine them on a backlit view box.

Digital radiography streamlines the cumbersome process. Now, a film-sized sensor is placed in the mouth, acting like a miniature camera with an x-ray sensitive chip. This sensor requires 50-90% less radiation exposure than traditional x-rays. The resulting image is highly detailed and almost instantly appears on the computer screen where both doctor and patient can review to discuss the very best treatment options for each case.

IntraOral Cameras:

This wonderful technology allows you to relax in your chair while observing real-time pictures of the inside of your mouth, magnified. It makes it easy for patients to see what the doctor sees, making treatment planning more understandable.

Sterilization and Patient Safety:

Our office uses state of the art sterilization procedures to ensure patient safety. Sterilization and disinfection are the essential steps in instrument processing and surface disinfections. We utilize heat sterilization for all of our instruments, which is monitored continually to assure effectiveness. We use an OSHA approved disinfectant solution on all exposed surfaces within each treatment room after every patient visit.
